The scanners in the digID™ Series use only a USB 2.0 interface cable for all power, control and data. This means that these scanners can be deployed in a portable manner with only a laptop computer. No external power required! The devices are made out of a rugged magnesium alloy that allows a complete turn-key system with computer, livescan, and wheeled carrying case to weigh less than 18 pounds. An advanced device driver completes the package with an automatic capture trigger that allows you to capture rolled, slapped or identification flats fingerprints without an external trigger like a mouse button, touch pad or foot pedal.
The digID™ Series of scanners is available with a Software Development Kit [
SDK] that enables device integration into third party applications. If you prefer, in combination with
inVize ID the digID L delivers a sophisticated yet easy to use
criminal background check solution and the digID LE delivers the same for
civilian, applicant and criminal background checks simultaneously.

digID™ L: a portable live scan for slap and rolled fingerprint set capture
This revolutionary
FBI certified device that weighs a mere
4.2 pounds quickly and easily captures fingerprints required for FBI criminal submmision, offering reliability and convenience in an easy-to-carry package. Complete sets of
14 fingerprint images can be taken in

digID™ LE: a portable live scan for identification flats and/or slap and rolled fingerprint set capture
This
FBI certified device builds on the digID L platform. This device weighs a mere
5.1 pounds and it not only captures the same fingerprint sets as the digID L but, it also captures a fornat of fingerprints called identification flats. In many civilian and applicant based background checks, only
three fingerprint images need to be captured instead of the set of 14 images captured by the digID L. It is much easier to capture good prints with these three images and therefore, time, frustration and money are saved by using an identification flats device instead of a criminal device. In fact, with this device, a complete set of identification flats prints can be captured in
30 seconds or less.
