Mr. Steve Hix
Mr. Steve Hix is a high-technology entrepreneur, who is no stranger to building successful multi-million dollar companies from a modest start-up. He served the United States Navy for twenty-one years, including ten years as a project design engineer for the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His experiences are based on more than 30 years of managing and founding various successful (high-technology) companies like Motif, Sarif, Advan Media and Phix Focus.
Mr. Hix is also founder and former CEO of InFocus Corporation, Co-Founder of Planar Systems, Inc and has held important management positions at Sigma Research Inc., Tektronix, Inc. and Watkins Johnson. At this time, Mr. Hix is CEO and co-founder of Steridian Corporation. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and Engineering, of the International Standards and Conformity Assessment, of the National Research Council and of the US Trade Policy Project Committee. In 1994, Mr. Hix was selected Technology Executive of the Year and in 1991, distinguished as Northwest Entrepreneur of the year.

Mr. Richard Fenrich
Mr. Richard Fenrich has led several successful high technology efforts. Most recently, he founded and successfully funded i3 on the strength of strategic biometric technology transferred from Exegetics, Incorporated, a company that he founded as President and CEO in 1993. He led Exegetics in its development and deployment of document management technology and its development of biometric technology. Through Mr. Fenrich's leadership, Exegetics' document management product has become a leading industry solution for law enforcement applications. Prior to his work at Exegetics Mr. Fenrich earned two technical Master's degrees and enjoyed a position as a Senior Research Scientist at the Center of Excellence for Document Analysis and Recognition [CEDAR].
